Privacy policy
Last updated September 13, 2026
Mainspring Data LLC ("we") runs mainspringdata.com. This policy covers what we collect on this website and how we handle it. Client engagements are governed by their service agreements, which contain stronger, more specific data terms.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, selected service, and message, along with the referring website or campaign tags your visit arrived from. We use these to respond to your inquiry and understand which outreach brings inquiries. Your browser keeps those tags for the current visit only, so they still apply if you send the form from another page. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical signals to distinguish people from bots.
- Technical basics: our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request logs to serve and secure the site.
- Aggregate page statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-less service that reports page views and referral information in aggregate.
- Fonts: your browser requests fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives technical request information, including your IP address, to deliver them.
- Nothing else. No advertising trackers, no cookies set by us, no cross-site tracking, no sale or sharing of personal information.
How we use and share it
We use contact submissions to reply to your inquiry and keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell or share personal information. Service providers that process data on our behalf include Cloudflare for hosting, form verification, analytics, and email routing, and Google for font delivery and the Gmail inbox that receives inquiries.
Retention and deletion
Contact messages are kept as ordinary business correspondence. Use the contact form to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion; we honor requests within 30 days unless the law requires retention.
The application records contact delivery events without copying your name, email address, or message into those event logs. Infrastructure request logs are managed by our hosting provider. Please do not submit payroll records, employee details, or credentials through this website.
California residents
California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information using the contact form. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what this policy describes.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. Questions: use the contact form.
