What's included

What a data team would build, kept running.

Quoted once we've seen your systems, as one flat monthly fee. One business paid a BI vendor $5,000 a month for dashboards alone; our Tempo plan covers that part for a fraction of the cost. The Data Engine is everything below, and it replaces an analyst hire.

Every system in, one set of numbers out

Every system connected

Booking, point of sale, payroll, accounting and ads, pulled every night. Systems without an API work from exports.

A warehouse you own

Your full history in one database, updated daily and open to any reporting tool.

Daily emails and dashboards

A morning brief for each manager, scoped to their locations, and Tempo dashboards with every location on one screen.

An AI analyst

Your team asks about the numbers in plain words. It answers from the figures already defined and shows the query behind each answer.

Monitoring and upkeep

We watch every run and fix what breaks. New reports and integrations are priced before we build them.

Once the engine runs, operations automation takes over the approvals and follow-ups your managers still handle by hand.

How the numbers are made

Numbers you can check.

Written rules

Every figure's definition is written down and approved before the first month.

Same data, same numbers

Run it twice and you get the same package. A figure changes only when the data behind it does.

Traceable

Every figure traces back to the source entries behind it.

No AI in the math

Code calculates every figure. AI never sets a number.

Production case study · multi-state fitness

Built inside a real business, not a demo.

The engine runs in production at a multi-location fitness business. It replaced an outside BI vendor that covered one slice of it, and the data engineer the business would otherwise have hired.

$63ka year: the BI vendor it replaced, for one slice of the work
$200k+a year: the data engineer never hired
1 commandfor the monthly board report, once a week of work

The vendor figure is measured from the business's records. The engineer is one senior data engineer at Los Angeles market rates, fully loaded. See the full case study

How it works

Live in four to six weeks.

Once we have access to your systems. More systems or custom reports take longer.

Pick what matters

Choose the reports and decisions that matter most. We check access to your systems and quote a fixed setup price and schedule.

Build and review

We connect the data, check the calculations, and review report drafts with your team before the scheduled delivery starts.

Keep it running

The platform refreshes on schedule and we handle what breaks. Each quarter we review results with you and pick the next improvement.

Questions

Which systems do you connect?

Booking systems such as Mindbody, Mariana Tek, Momence, Arketa and Zenoti. QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or any other accounting system. Rippling, Shopify, Stripe, ClassPass, Wellhub, Plaid, Ramp, Meta Ads, Google Ads and Google Workspace, plus anything with an API whose terms allow a copy. A new connector is quoted before we build it.

What does it cost?

A setup fee and a flat monthly fee, quoted once we've seen your systems and the reports you need. New integrations or workflows are priced before we build them.

What does our team need to do?

Name one person to own the project, give us access to the systems involved, walk us through the reports you rely on, and review the drafts. After launch, we meet quarterly.

Who owns the data, and what happens if we leave?

Your data is yours. Before any work starts, the service agreement spells out hosting, access, export, and what we hand over if you leave.

How do you handle sensitive data and AI access?

Access and data-processing terms are signed before we connect anything. We build and test on synthetic or de-identified records, and AI only touches client data where your agreement allows it.
