  • Your chart of accounts
  • Same definitions every month
  • The math behind every figure

Two packages

Pick the package for who reads it.

Both arrive as a finished PDF with the tables behind it, on the same day of your close calendar each month.

Owner report

For owners and operators running several locations.

  • Profit and loss by location, against last month, last year and budget.
  • Labor cost as a share of sales, by location.
  • Operating numbers from the systems you run: visits, appointments, tickets or hours.
  • One page on what changed and why.

Sponsor package

For private equity platforms, their CFOs and operating partners.

  • A monthly flash a few days after your books close.
  • The KPI schedule your sponsor asked for, defined the same way every month.
  • Covenant calculations on your credit agreement's definitions, with the Adjusted EBITDA bridge.
  • Each new add-on mapped to the platform chart of accounts within weeks of closing.

Buying an add-on? The add-on diligence pack checks its numbers before you close.

How it works

From your systems to a finished package.

Set up once. After that, each month runs on its own and your team reviews.

Connect

Each entity's books, on QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or any other accounting system, plus payroll and the operating systems you choose.

Map

Every entity's accounts mapped to one chart of accounts. Your controller approves each mapping, and new add-ons join the same way.

Deliver

The package each month, checked against the books, with the calculation behind every figure.

How the numbers are made

Numbers you can check.

Written rules

Every figure's definition is written down and approved before the first month.

Same data, same numbers

Run it twice and you get the same package. A figure changes only when the data behind it does.

Traceable

Every figure traces back to the source entries behind it.

No AI in the math

Code calculates every figure. AI never sets a number.

In production

Built by people who close the month.

We produce this package every month for a PE-backed, multi-location group. It runs on the same pipelines behind our morning brief and Data Engine.

Questions

Which systems do you work with?

For the books, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or any other accounting system: through its API where it has one, from exports where it doesn't. Then the payroll provider you use, and booking or point-of-sale systems where their terms allow a copy.

Does our controller stay in charge?

Yes. Your controller or CFO approves account mappings and Adjusted EBITDA addbacks. We do the assembly, the math and the checks.

Where does the budget come from?

Your team and your sponsor set it. We can send the history by location and month to build it from. Send us the approved budget by location and month, and every report shows it against actuals. Our guide covers how PE-backed companies run the annual budget.

How soon does a new acquisition show up?

Within weeks of closing, mapped to your chart of accounts. Fixing a mapping in month twelve is far more work than doing it in month one.

Is this accounting or legal advice?

No. We assemble and check the figures. Your team and advisors own what goes to your sponsor and lenders.

What does it cost?

A fixed monthly fee, set after a short call, based on how many entities, locations and systems you have.
