Sale-ready data book

Answer every buyer with the same numbers.

  • The data book buyers and lenders ask for: same-store sales, results by opening year, new-location ramp and unit economics.
  • Every figure tied to the query that made it, and checked before each meeting.
  • Fixed fee
  • Every figure traceable
  • Built from your own systems
Example

Same-store sales, by the year each location opened.

A view buyers often ask for. Older locations show the base; newer ones show the ramp.

What's in it

The questions buyers ask, answered before they ask.

Not a quality of earnings report: the operating data that report and the buyers work from.

Same-store sales

By location, month and opening year, on a definition you choose and state.

New-location ramp

How each opening grew in its first months, against the openings before it.

Unit economics

Revenue, labor, rent and margin per location, tied to your books.

Customers and retention

Retention and spend by the year customers joined, from your sales system.

Every figure traced

Each number tied to its query and its source, so an analyst on the other side can rebuild it.

Checked before each meeting

Rerun and checked before each version goes out, so the numbers match from one version to the next.

Why it matters

Buyers check. Make sure the numbers hold.

A figure that changes between meetings invites questions. The book is built once from your systems and refreshed the same way every time. We organize and check the data; it is not legal or financial advice.

Questions

Is this a quality of earnings report?

No. A quality of earnings report comes from an accounting firm. The data book is what they and the buyer work from: your operating data, organized and tied to your books.

When should we start?

Before the first buyer or lender meeting. Allow a few weeks if your systems are not connected yet; less if we already run your reporting.

Who sees it?

You decide. We deliver it to you, and you share it in your data room.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. We organize and check your data; this is not legal or financial advice. Your bankers, accountants and counsel advise on the deal.

What does it cost?

A fixed fee, quoted once we've seen your systems and what buyers have asked for. Refreshes for later meetings are priced up front.
